Cover Letters - Feeling Out of Your Comfort Zone
You may be feeling a little out of your comfort zone at the thought of calling employers and asking if your
letters have been received.
Whenever I teach job search seminars I always ask people to raise their hands if contacting employers seems a little scary.
Usually more than half of the participants raise their hands, so it's natural to feel a little scared or worried about calling employers.
You need to ask yourself why you're scared and how you can feel comfortable following-up on your job contacts.
Otherwise, you are learning excellent cover letter techniques but won't achieve maximum success if you can't motivate yourself to use them.
Below
are more cover letter snippets, cover letter tips and cover
letter samples from my book Proven Resumes Strategies
