Writing cover letters is often
more difficult than writing a resume because cover letters
are written in narrative format. When teaching
unemployment cover letter and resume writing workshops, and
help clients create a cover letter that flowed, I developed a list of
transitional phrases like the ones below and recommend you
review them when you begin to write your cover letter.
The standard preference when writing a cover letter is not
to use 'I' and instead using transitional phrases like the
ones below to begin cover letter paragraphs and when writing
cover letter content.
